He Fulfills His PROMISES
So shall my
word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
it shall
not return unto me void,
but it
shall accomplish that which I please,
and it
shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it
--Isaiah
55:11
Voids; we all have voids in our lives. The word void means empty, lacking, or
being without something specified. Voids take on many different shapes and
sizes; some voids appear natural (i.e. money, companionship, health, strength,
transportation, status, etc.), while other voids are deemed to be spiritual
(love, faith, hope, prayer, joy, contentment, etc.). Whether they appear
natural or spiritual, they are all spiritual because God is the only One who
holds the power to fill any of these voids. He is the One who softens the
Hiring Manager’s heart to make room for us and offer us that position that will
pay more money and supply better benefits; He is the One who will send us a
husband/wife who will love us as the Bible teaches spouses to love one another;
He is the One who is the doctor in the ER, who breathes life back into a dead
body. It is also God who turns mourning into joy, weeping into smiles, a bitter
heart into a heart of love and contentment, an unforgiving soul into one who
forgives and forgets. It is only God who can teach us how to love, how to
exercise faith when the road seems impossible, how to have joy even when things
aren’t going our way, and how to live in a constant state of fulfillment.
Since God is the void filler, the word on this morning is to trust in God
because He cannot go back on His word. God in His infinite wisdom supports all
of His promises in His writings and so here in Isaiah 55:11, God tells us that
there isn’t one word that He speaks that will return to Him void. That means
God does not sell empty promises; He is sure to deliver and accomplish what He
set out to achieve. He not only guarantees that His word and His promise will
be fulfilled, but He adds to it by saying that His word and promise will
prosper wherever He sends it. That means that we have the authority to speak
the word of God to every void place in our lives and watch God not only fill
the void, but make that void prosperous. We are destined to be prosperous in
all areas of our lives, not just monetarily either, because money doesn’t solve
everything, but we are meant to be whole individuals in Christ. We can
accomplish this by just drawing closer to Him in our daily walk and when we are
drawn closer to Him, we will know that we have the authority to speak “those
things that are not as though they were.” (Romans 4:17)
So as we go throughout our day today, I encourage us all to get rid of the void
places by calling on the Void Filler, God the Father. He keeps His PROMISES which are sure to RESTORE us, remember GIRL YOU CAN L.O.V.E (Live Out Victory Everyday)!
